Work Progress and Deliverables

The NO-REST project started on 1March 2004.

The following phases are planned in the Project activity:

Report on the taxonomy of business models  

This report will classify e-business and e-government organisations' business models and the impact they have on the need for standards. This will be based on an in-depth literature survey.

First workshop  

Organisation of an international workshop to report and discuss the intermediate results of the project. Representatives of all relevant stakeholders will be invited. Proceedings of the WS will be published.

Report on the analysis of the impact of a standards setting body's credibility   This report will describe to what extent a standard's success depends on the originating SDO. This will be based on both a survey and interviews.

Second workshop   Organisation of an international workhop to report and discuss the intermediate results of the project. Representatives of all relevant stakeholders will be invited to participate. Proceedings of the WS will be published.

Final internal project assessment and review report   The outcome of the final internal assessment and review exercise will be reported here. This report may be included in the final project review report.

The INTEREST project has organized a workshop on 16 November in conjunction with next CENSTAR plenary meeting in Brussels.
The 4th International Conference on Standardisation & Innovation in IT (SIIT 2005) took place on 21-23 September 2005 in Geneva (ITU-T).
